Reserve residence

Reserve Residence is a refined coastal cottage renovation of a five-bedroom, two-living family home in Noraville, positioned against a lush bushland reserve backdrop.

Primarily cosmetic in scope, the renovation focused on improving the home’s street presence, functionality and overall sense of light. The front gable was refined to create a stronger and more welcoming façade, supported by new roofing, replacement garage doors and a fresh exterior palette of soft whites, warm neutrals and natural textures.

The home’s classic gabled forms, painted brickwork, French doors and covered verandah create a timeless coastal character that feels both relaxed and elevated. Layered native and coastal landscaping, organic garden beds, natural stone steppers and subtle garden lighting soften the arrival and connect the home back to its bushland setting.

Internally, the home includes updated and cohesive timber flooring, a refreshed kitchen and considered floor plan tweaks to improve everyday family living. These changes helped create a more functional, open and light-filled home while retaining the relaxed character of the original residence.

The result is a calm family sanctuary with a classic Sunday House feel — natural, textural and quietly refined.
